Christian Jessup is an aspiring film composer, with over 200 compositions ranging from electronic, piano solos, music for string orchestra, music for small ensembles, and compositions for full orchestra since 2012.
In February 2014, his composition, "Hope," won the NC Council on the Holocaust music contest, and was performed for an audience that included holocaust survivors and their families.
Christian is currently studying music composition and film studies at Gardner-Webb University. In spring of 2017, he won 7 awards (including 2 national prizes) for writing his own entirely new score to the film Star Wars.
In summer of 2017, Jessup interned with Hans Zimmer's film music studio, Remote Control Productions in Santa Monica, California. This opportunity allowed him to study under some of the world's best film composers including Lorne Balfe, Ramin Djawadi, Dominic Lewis, and Jasha Klebe.
Christian is open to commissions to compose; just fill out a contact form and he'll be in touch with you as soon as possible.
