Falling for Her
A rapturously melodic piano duet which practically sang, propelled by a sixteenth-note ostinato...
“Falling for Her” is a contemporary musical interpretation of a classic romance, a modern fairy tale, so to speak. It makes use of a short, recurring motif to represent love itself, and a sixteenth note ostinato that moves the piece along and signifies time. Both the motif and the ostinato are present from the start of the piece and can be heard in various portions throughout. As a whole, “Falling for Her" follows the spark, growth, hardships, and ultimately, the triumph of true love.
